Plain answers to four questions: what Dropenza keeps about you, why it keeps it, who else sees it, and what you can do about it.

Last updated:

1.Who this applies to

Dropenza is software that helps eBay sellers research products, prepare listings, keep prices current and fulfil orders. This policy covers the Dropenza website, your workspace and the AI assistant connection.

The buyers who order from your eBay store are your customers, so you decide why their data is used. Dropenza handles it on your behalf, only to run your workspace.

2.What we collect

  • Your account: email or username, a hashed password, your plan, and your language and notification choices.
  • Your eBay connection: the OAuth access and renewal tokens (kept encrypted), your store name, your country and any settings you save.
  • Orders and buyers: order details, the buyer's username, shipping name and address, tracking numbers, and buyer messages synced from eBay.
  • Products and listings: ASINs, listings, drafts, prices, templates and image links.
  • Amazon buyer accounts (optional): the login details and session cookies you save so that ordering and tracking can run automatically. These are stored encrypted.
  • Activity and logs: what happens in the workspace, errors, job status, and AI usage counts (tokens and credits only, never the text itself).
  • Support: the messages you send to our team or to the help chat.

3.What we do with it

  • Run the service: import orders, refresh prices and availability, publish listings and pass tracking numbers to eBay.
  • Place Amazon orders and fetch tracking, but only when you switch those features on.
  • Write listing text and reply drafts when you ask for them (see How AI is involved).
  • Send account emails, and notification emails only if you turn them on.
  • Keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix problems.
  • Answer your support requests.

4.How AI is involved

Dropenza uses Google's Gemini models to produce text. Nothing is sent to them unless you use a feature that needs it.

  • AI listings: product facts (title, bullet points, description, attributes) are passed along so that fresh listing copy (title, description, item specifics) can be generated.
  • AI reply drafts: only when you press the button, the chosen buyer's conversation and verified facts about the related order (item title and quantity) are sent so a draft can be written. Buyers sometimes put personal details in their messages, so these may be part of what is sent. Your tokens, your passwords and other buyers' conversations are never included.
  • Help chat: the question you type.
  • Everything produced is a draft. You decide what is published or sent. Google handles these requests under its own API terms, and Dropenza does not train any model on your data.
  • AI assistant connection (MCP): if you link ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, it can read the data of the store you select. That assistant's provider receives what it reads, under its own terms. You can revoke the connection in Apps whenever you like.

5.Who receives your information

  • eBay, through its APIs, for the stores you connect.
  • Amazon, when you ask Dropenza to place an order: the buyer's delivery address is entered at Amazon checkout.
  • Google, for the AI features above.
  • Hosting and network providers, including proxy services used to read public product pages, and our own mail server for email.
  • Our support staff, and only once you have allowed them to open your workspace.
  • We never sell personal data.

6.Email

We send account emails such as address verification and password reset. Notification emails (new order, buyer message, failed automatic order, low AI credits, trial ending, daily summary) are off by default. They are sent only after you switch each one on under Settings, Notifications, and you can switch them off again at any time.

7.Cookies and data protection

  • A session cookie keeps you signed in, and scripts cannot read it. A second cookie remembers your language.
  • The Dropenza site uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
  • eBay tokens and Amazon login details are stored encrypted, passwords are hashed, and all traffic uses HTTPS.
  • Our staff have limited access to your workspace, and for support that access depends on your permission.
  • No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.

8.How long we keep it

Account and store data stays for as long as your account exists. Order and listing data is kept so you can carry on fulfilling and reporting. Technical logs are kept for a limited time to help with troubleshooting.

If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete or anonymize the personal data tied to it, except what we must keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons. Backups are rotated, so removed data drops out of them as they are replaced.

9.Your rights and controls

  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data.
  • Inside the workspace you can disconnect your eBay store, remove saved Amazon login details, turn notifications off and revoke an AI assistant connection yourself.
  • Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights, such as limiting how your data is processed or complaining to a data protection authority. We reply within the time the law requires.
  • Buyers who wish to see or delete their data should contact the seller they ordered from. If they write to us, we will help that seller respond.

10.Where data is processed

Dropenza and its service providers may handle data inside the US and elsewhere.

11.Children

Dropenza is built for business use by adults and is not aimed at anyone under 18.

12.When this policy changes

We update the date at the top whenever the policy changes. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or inside the app.
